YOKO is a kosher restaurant in Skokie, Illinois. It is listed at 4034 Oakton St, Skokie, IL 60076, which places it among the local businesses of Skokie that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as asian fusion restaurant, bar & grill, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 12β11 pm. It is closed on Friday, Saturday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach YOKO at (224) 470-2189; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, yokochicago.com.
Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 731 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded kosher restaurant in Skokie.
Skokie is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Skokie follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ (5/5) Yoko in Skokie is an outstanding kosher restaurant and easily one of the highlights of the kosher dining scene in the Chicago area. From the food to the service and atmosphere, the entire experience was excellent. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. You can tell there is real attention to detail in both the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well executed, with a great selection on the menu. The service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal without ever making us feel rushed. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere β modern and upscale while still being comfortable and inviting. It's a great choice whether you're going out for a casual dinner, a date night, or a special occasion. It's always great to find a kosher restaurant that delivers not just because it's kosher, but because it's genuinely an excellent restaurant. Yoko absolutely does that. Highly recommended, and definitely a place I'll return to whenever I'm in the Skokie/Chicago area.

YOKO completely redefines kosher dining . The atmosphere is upscale, modern, and stylish, making it the perfect place for a date night, celebration, or just a great night out. My favorite dish was the Pad Thaiβit was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. A close second was the Wagyu Pretzel Bites, which were incredibly flavorful and a fun, unique appetizer. We ordered several desserts, and the crΓ¨me brΓ»lΓ©e was the clear favorite. A special thank you to Alina, who was warm, friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding service throughout our meal. She made an already wonderful dining experience even better. If you're looking for an upscale kosher meat restaurant with creative dishes, exceptional food, and excellent service, YOKO is definitely worth visiting. We can't wait to come back!

Alrighty!!! Now this is a place to eat in Skokie. The service was attentive without being overly intrusive. The drinks were delicious and amazingly fun. You can tell a lot of time and effort go into their presentation. The food... The food was delicious!!! Impeccable. I loved this meal. It was a wonderful time out. This is what going out for dinner should feel like. The coolest part is that it's a neighborhood restaurant. This has the feel of big city dining with a shorter drive and parking. Yes yes yes! Go. Great for a date, momma's night out, dinner meetings, or just a solo meal by the bar!

The atmosphere was very nice- the bathroom and restaurant were very clean and had beautiful lighting. We got two sushi rolls and edamame- everything was amazing! It was honestly the best sushi Iβve had in a long time. The fish tasted very fresh and both rolls had lots of flavor! Definitely will be craving these forever now, I wish I couldβve tried everything on the menu.

I would have liked to give this restaurant a better review, especially since it is walking distance from my home, but I've experienced better service at most places I've been to. The second my husband and I walked in, we were warmly welcomed by (probably) the manager, who actually got us excited to try YOKO out for the first time. But very shortly after, we were ignored. Well-played pitching. The atmosphere was beautiful, nicely decorated, and the food was good. There was so much to choose from but my husband and I ultimately ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, salmon bomb, sakura roll, and the chocolate fudge for dessert. Much to my surprise, the salmon bomb which, unbeknownst to me, only had 4 small pieces of salmon topped with shredded green onion was...$20 (insert "The Scream" emoji). A bomb to my wallet, for sure. And two spoons for our dessert (maybe next time), please.
